Terms of Service

These terms govern bookings made with Clear Touch Tourism & Services (“Clear Touch”, “we”, “us”), a licensed tour operator and creative studio in Doha, Qatar, through cleartouchtourism.com, WhatsApp, email, our online scheduling tool, or in person. By confirming a booking you accept these terms.

1. Bookings and confirmation

A booking is confirmed only once we have sent you a written confirmation by email or WhatsApp stating the service, date, time and price. An enquiry, a quote, or a slot held in our scheduling tool is not itself a confirmed booking. Please check your confirmation carefully and tell us straight away if any detail is wrong.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are quoted per booking and depend on the group size, season and inclusions. Unless stated otherwise, prices are in Qatari Riyal (QAR) and include the items listed under “What’s included” for that service. Anything listed under “Not included” — entry tickets, meals, optional activities, gratuities and personal expenses — is payable by you.

A deposit may be required to secure a date, with the balance due before or on the day of service as set out in your confirmation. We will tell you the exact amount and payment method in writing before you pay anything.

3. Changes and cancellation by you

Tell us as early as you can if your plans change and we will do our best to move your booking. The cancellation terms that apply to your booking are stated in your written confirmation, because they differ between services — a desert safari, a resort island day pass and a full photography shoot each carry different commitments to third parties. Where we have already paid a resort, boat operator or venue on your behalf, that portion may be non-refundable.

4. Changes and cancellation by us

Safety comes first. We may change or cancel a tour because of weather, sea conditions, desert or road conditions, vehicle or vessel issues, government restrictions, or anything else outside our reasonable control. Where that happens we will offer you the first of these that works for you: a rescheduled date, a comparable alternative experience, or a refund of the amount you paid for the affected part.

5. Your responsibilities

• Be at the agreed pickup point at the agreed time. Where a group departure is missed, it may not be possible to refund or repeat it.
• Carry valid identification, and any visa or permit your itinerary requires.
• Tell us in advance about medical conditions, pregnancy, mobility needs, allergies or dietary requirements that affect the activity.
• Follow the reasonable safety instructions of your guide, driver or skipper at all times.
• Supervise children in your party. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Respect Qatari law and local custom, including dress and conduct at cultural and religious sites.

We may end a service without refund if a guest’s behaviour puts themselves, other guests or our team at risk.

6. Activity risk

Some of our experiences — dune bashing, camel riding, sandboarding, water sports and boat travel — carry inherent risk even when properly conducted. You take part voluntarily and accept that risk. Please do not join an activity that is unsuitable for your health.

7. Insurance

We are licensed and insured as an operator. That cover does not replace personal travel insurance, and we strongly recommend you hold your own policy covering medical costs, cancellation and personal belongings.

8. Visa assistance

Where we help with a Qatar tourist visa, we prepare and submit the application on your behalf. The decision belongs entirely to the Qatari authorities. We cannot guarantee an outcome, and service fees for work already done are not refundable if an application is refused.

9. Photography and video services

• Delivery. Edited images and films are delivered digitally within the timeframe stated in your booking confirmation.
• Copyright. We retain copyright in the images and footage we create. You receive a licence to use your delivered files for personal use, or for the commercial use agreed in writing for a commercial commission.
• Portfolio use. We may wish to show selected work in our portfolio or on social media. We will ask you first, and we will respect a no.
• Raw files. Unedited raw files are not part of a standard delivery.
• Creative judgement. Editing style is our professional judgement, in the style shown in our portfolio. Re-edits beyond the agreed revisions may be chargeable.

10. Website content

All photographs, video, text and design on this website belong to Clear Touch Tourism & Services and may not be copied or reused without our written permission. We keep this site as accurate as we can, but itineraries, timings and inclusions can change; your written booking confirmation is what governs your booking.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Qatari law. Beyond that, our liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid us for it, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as missed flights or onward arrangements.

12. Complaints

If something goes wrong, tell your guide at the time so we have the chance to put it right on the spot. If it is still unresolved, email bookings@cleartouchtourism.com within 30 days and we will respond.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Qatar have jurisdiction over any dispute.
